What makes a good leader?
To me what makes a good leader is having someone who has the ability to empathise; be flexible and who can use their own experiences to enhance the work; All the while putting the piece of the puzzle together.
Do disabled people experience barriers to leadership that non disabled people don't experience?
Yes, the stereotypical view of "disability" puts up barriers. It would be nice to think we live in a non-discriminatory world, but we are not there yet. However, things are improving and by having disabled people in leadership roles people can see that we are just as able. Disability leadership to me is about getting people to see pass the problem and see the potential it can bring.
