What makes a good leader?
A good leader should stand up for people's rights because it's not fair that Disabled people get left out of doing Performing Arts because there aren't any courses, it’s only for ‘normal’ people who are more intelligent. Being a good leader is a person who never gives up and never takes no for an answer. We should complain to the Government of how the disabled are treated in the Performing Arts which is wrong.
Is leadership different for disabled people?
Just because you have a disability they think you are incapable and they don't listen. At the moment no one is listening or taking action. You really have to speak up and if you don't nothing will get changed.
Do disabled people experience barriers to leadership that non disabled people don’t experience?
Disabled people don't have the opportunity for their career choice. I think it's discrimination. There isn’t always the training. The Government is not helping the disabled people to get a job of their own choice. Authorities don't have the respect for disabled people because they want to push them to work and making their life really hard without listening to them and giving them a choice of what they want in life.
