Disabled people, and in fact people from any ‘diversity group’, won’t just be waiting for you to open your doors – you’ll have to work hard to reach them, interest them and welcome them in.

Most arts organisations need audiences – and here you can find info on welcoming them, marketing to them and developing them! With disabled people you’ll have to work on two levels – ensuring those within your current audiences are supported and have their needs met, and also reaching out to those who haven’t realised that what you offer is open to them too.
