What makes a good leader?
A disabled/deaf person who wants to be a good leader is visually, mentally, physically, spiritually, geographically, and emotionally ambitious. For me that means you work all out and never give up. I recognise for some people, this will be seen as over-ambitious.
Is leadership difficult for disabled people?
There are numerous obstacles in every journey we make and we should be prepared and willing to fight or creatively work around them.
Do you think there are barriers to leadership for disabled people that non- disabled people don't face?
We are waiting for someone in the arts area – a role model for others to look up to. Are there ones already that I’m not aware of?
